The camera films two boys shovelling small coal briquettes into buckets in the camp compound. They walk towards the camera, smiling at each other, each with two coal buckets in his hands. The boys are about fourteen or fifteen years old. The boy on the right in the picture is Leo Chaba, born in 1927 in Dresden. In all probability he and his parents Chaim and Slava, nee Eltermann, were murdered on 3 March 1943 immediately after their arrival in Auschwitz-Birkenau.
