Permanent exhibition
The permanent historical exhibition in the attic of the memorial building was opened on 9 June 2000. The presentation focuses on the 'euthanasia' crimes and the murder of prisoners from concentration camps ('special treatment 14f13') at Sonnenstein. The fates of 22 Sonnenstein murder victims are documented in a memorial room in the cellar. This representative group stands for all the victims. The conception and content of the permanent exhibition were the responsibility of Dr. Boris Böhm, director of the memorial. The Berlin design office gewerk was responsible for the design work.
